So this happened... and it's not an April Fool's joke!
As you all know I had my first Barnes & Noble signing this past Saturday and it was a huge success. A giant THANK YOU to all my readers, family and friends for the massive amount of support you gave me this weekend. You came out in droves and the team at the Walden Galleria B&N said it was the most traffic they have seen come into their store with a signing! (*mind blown)
The team was very happy and told me at the end of the event they would be in touch!! That alone made my day! What I didn't anticipate was them reaching out to me the very next day (on Sunday). The Barnes & Noble Clarence Store wanted to book me for an event at their store! AAHHH!! I couldn't believe it! I had to pinch myself. LOL
Now, the even cooler thing is that they wanted to book me right away. So, I will be there on Sunday, April 27th at 11:00am. I will do a little story time and then I'll have my author signing, for all my books, directly after. I am just so excited to showcase my books at another Barnes & Noble store and customer base!
This has been a dream come true and I am so truly blessed and thankful for these opportunities!!
Please spread the word and if you are in town but couldn't make it to my other B&N signing consider coming to this one. Bring your kids, your grandkids or just come to hear an awesome story with fabulous illustrations by local illustrator, Aaron Trudell!! Then stay for my signing and do a little shopping at a great bookstore!
I truly never could have imagined this is where I would be a year and a half after I published my first book! It's so amazing! It just reinforces that life's unexpected detours can put you on a path to great things! So, take that detour!
